Patterns of behaviour that you display in response to a challenging emotion being triggered is not who you are, it is a pattern of behaviour you have inherited, but it’s not personal to you. When a bill comes in and you feel like you’re failing at what you’re trying to succeed in, you’re just bringing up the resistance that requires you to remind yourself that you’re choosing something different.
